| 요약2 | Recently, single-person households in Korea constitute approximately 33.4% of the total household type, signifying a need for adjustments in prevailing policies that predominantly focuses on four-person households. Accordingly, this study utilized domestic migration data from the MicroData Integrated Service(MDIS) to discern the characteristics of residential mobility among in-flow areas by age group of single-person households in the Seoul metropolitan area. Key findings are summarized as follows. It was observed that single-person households tended to move into areas with a concentration of individuals in similar age groups. Moreover, these households were found to be moved into areas with lower average land prices and a prevalence of multi-family housings, including apartments. In addition, proximity to public transportation and urban amenities such as parks and hospitals showed a significant association. Conversely, regarding public rental housing, a notable disparity emerged between the supply areas and the actual residential locations of the target demographic. Through the examination of longitudinal data, this study identified factors influencing the influx of single-person households based on age groups. The results are anticipated to contribute to the formulation of policies aimed at enhancing residential welfare services and living conditions for single-person households. |
