| 요약2 | This study examines the network structure, status, role, and activity characteristics of participating subjects through social network analysis, focusing on the case of Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture, which establishes local governance in the process of supporting local migrant youth. This study suggests important implications for establishing a support system for local migrant youth in the future and the formation of governance at the local community level. The findings of the study are the following. First, as a defining example of combining the local visioning process and youth support policies, the process can be regarded as a forum for discussion among various actors to recognize and exchange local problems at the local community level. Second, the youth migration and the settlement support policy together created an organically interconnected system of the basis of socioeconomic foundation, such as jobs, local communities, and the basis of activities, such as residence, business start-ups, and community spaces. Third, various participants engaged in joint activities, forming a dense network with each other. As a result, we confirmed that creating a layer and network of multiple relationships and resources surrounding young immigrants is critical in youth migration. Lastly, in the process of youth migration, the local governance was strengthened through a structure encouraging the participation among diverse young migrants and through a collaborative system between the administrative authorities the citizens, and the private sector. |
