| 요약1 | 본 연구의 목적은 인도네시아 반둥시의 사례를 통해서 도시 공원에서 사회적 활동에 영향을 미치는 공원의 물리적 특징들을 찾아내는데 있다. 본 연구는 여러 도시 공원에서 행태 맵핑 기법과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 통계적 분석 결과 다양한 요소들 중 놀이시설과 벤치가 사회적 활동과 가장 높은 상관성을 갖는 중요한 공원의 물리적 요소로 나타났다. 본 연구는 분석 결과를 토대로 사회적 행위가 활성화된 공원을 만들기 위해 고려할 다섯 가지 중요한 공원의 물리적 특징들을 밝혀내었다. 그 특징들은 활동적 프로그램을 위한 공간, 그늘이 제공되는 앉을 수 있는 공간, 활동적 프로그램과 앉을 수 있는 공간의 조합, 넓은 오픈 스페이스, 벤치들의 배치였다. 일곱 공원에 대한 분석은 물리적 환경조건이 공원 내의 사회적 활동을 증가시킬 수 있음을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 시사점은 물리적 요소의 설계가 사회적 활동의 유형에 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 사회적 활동이 공공장소 설계를 평가할 수 있는 중요한 지표로 작용할 수 있음을 확인했다는 것이다. |
| 요약2 | This research was aimed at discovering physical characteristics that support social activities in urban parks based on the case of Bandung, Indonesia. The behavior mapping method and ordinal logistic regression model were used in the research. In the statistical analysis, among various elements, play equipment, ‘sittable’ furniture was examined as the most important physical elements in a park, having the highest probability to induce social activities. To create more sociable parks, several important physical characteristics should be considered: space for active programs, a combination of spaces for active programs and a seating area, and the configuration of the benches. An analysis of seven parks showed that physical characteristics can encourage social activities in urban parks. The significance of this research is its demonstration that the design and planning of physical elements can guide patterns of social activities and social activity can be used as an indicator to evaluate public space design. |
