| 요약1 | 도시의 공간구조는 크게는 물리적 틀을 형성하는 형태적 요소들과 그에 배치되는 기능적 요소로 구분될 수 있으며, 지속적 계획?관리를 통한 두 요소의 적절한 결합은 계획의 중요한 부분이다. 이 연구에서는 변해가는 도시 가운데 형태적 요소인 가로체계 네트워크와 기능적 요소들인 용도지역, 시설배치, 중심지체계 간의 결합관계와 그 적절성이 어떻게 나타나는가를 포항시 사례를 통해 분석해보았다. 그 결과 가로체계의 구성 자체가 변해가면서 그 위에 놓인 기능적 요소와의 관계성이 저하되어감에도 이를 적절히 다루지 못하는 문제점을 볼 수 있었다. 또한 중심지체계 계획이 확장?변화해가는 가로체계 형태를 반영하지 못하고 명목상의 영역구분에 그치고 있어, 실질적인 도시 재구조화가 어려움을 발견할 수 있었다. 가로체계는 이동패턴과 공간적 영향력을 규정하는 근본적 형태요소이므로, 기능적 요소를 다루는 정책에 있어 가로체계 네트워크로서의 도시 특성을 반영하여 두 요소를 긴밀히 결합시킬 수 있게 하는 계획방안 모색이 필요하다. |
| 요약2 | Urban structure can be divided into morphological elements working as physical frame, and functional elements located onto it. And integrating these two properly in an urban structure is an important part of planning. This study examines configuration and interrelation between morphological and functional elements in Pohang which went through massive change over time. As a result of it, it was found that their relationship tended to become loose as street grid changed and urban functions shifted without proper restructuring. Also, the plan of central places seemed not reflecting the changes in street grid properly thus remaining as a nominal territorial division plan. Street grid network is a basic morphological element authoring the pattern and direction of urban flows. Thus in all the public policies influencing urban structure, a strategic planning to integrate these two elements in the urban structure is highly required. |
