| 요약1 | 도시화의 진전과 개발이 완료된 기성시가지에 있어서 다양한 도시문제들이 발생하고 있는 가운데, 지역활성화와 도시재생에 관한 이슈는 도시정비의 새로운 패러다임이 되고 있다. 특히, 그 동안 지역기능의 중추적인 역할을 담당하면서도 지역이 당면한 주요 현안과제의 해결에 있어서 제 기능을 다하지 못했던 지역의 대학들이 지역활성화에 관련된 사업과 정책에 있어서 관심과 참여의 기회가 늘어나고 있다. 지역의 대학과 지역주민 혹은 지자체 등과의 올바른 협력체계의 구축은 주체들 간의 상호 공생적인 관계를 형성하고, 나아가서는 지역의 활성화와 도시재생의 성공적인 모델을 구축할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 이러한 사회적, 도시적 패러다임의 변화에 따라, 이 연구는 지금까지 지역문제 해결에 있어서 대학과 지역사회와의 소극적인 관계에서 벗어나 대학과 지역사회의 적극적인 관계 맺음을 통해 대학이 지역사회활성화에 있어서 성공적인 역할을 해오고 있는 일본의 대학 및 지역연계 프로그램 사례에 주목하여, 대학이 지역사회 활성화에 있어서 성공적인 자산으로 자리매김할 수 있는 기초적인 정보를 제공하는데 있다. |
| 요약2 | In existing urbanized downtown areas, revitalization of local communities and cities is now becoming a new paradigm of urban redevelopment. In particular, universities which have played a pivotal role in supporting various local functions but failed to fulfill their function so far, now have many opportunities to participate in projects or policies related to revitalization of local communities. Establishing good collaboration systems between universities and local communities help build up mutual symbiotic relationship and develop a successful urban revitalization model. Considering changes in social and urban paradigms, this study aims at suggesting some key implications from case studies of collaborative planning programs between local universities and communities in Japan in which universities play a key role in revitalizing local communities through active collaboration planning. |
