| 요약1 | 본 연구는 우리나라 도시 내 자생적 주거지의 낙후된 주거환경과 전면철거되는 개발 상황, 이에 따른 문제점에 착안하여 자생적 주거지 도시조직의 지속가능성과 발전방안을 찾아보고자 시작하였다. 도시조직의 역사적 변화과정, 현황조사·분석, 주민의식조사 결과, 분석대상지인 용산구 용산2가동 일대의 자생적 주거지인 해방촌은 불량주거지로 시작하여 어엿한 도시주거지로 발전했다고 할 수 있었으며 그 도시조직의 지속가능성을 볼 수 있었다. 해방촌의 지속가능한 물리적 요소는 각 요소의 문제점을 수정하고 가능성을 강화한 것이며 문제점들은 앞으로 개선 가능한 것들임을 확인하였고 주민들의 지속적인 거주의사를 파악했다. 따라서 지속가능한 물리적 요소는 지형과 휴먼스케일의 도시조직, 저층 고밀의 도시적 밀도, 주거지의 골격을 이루는 복합용도의 생활가로 및 중요한 시설, 양호한 주택들, 등고선을 따르는 평탄한 가로, 가로공간의 물리적 특성 등으로 요약할 수 있었다. 앞으로 해방촌의 역사적이고 지속가능한 물리적 요소를 존중하여 정비한다면 한국 현대사의 주거문화를 보여주는 역사적인 주거지, 도심에서 자연을 느낄 수 있는 매력적인 주거지로 발전할 수 있을 것이다. |
| 요약2 | This study was intended to seek the sustainability of spontaneous settlements' urban fabric, considering the bad residential environment of spontaneous settlements in Korean cities, and the problems followed by redevelopment with complete demolition of the settlements. The analysis of history, current situation, urban fabric and residential environment revealed that Haebangchon(Yongsangu, Seoul) has been developed from a shantytown to a typical urban residential area. Haebangchon has a number of physical elements which can make the community sustainable, including topography, urban fabric in human scale, low-rise highdensity, the mixed used street, important historical facilities, etc. Should living environment of Haebangchon be developed respecting the historic and sustainable physical elements, it would possibly be a historic site showing Korea's modern living culture as well as an attractive residential area where people can feel the nature in the middle of the town. |
