Changes in color rendering properties of four types of fluorescent lamps - three-band type daylight (EXD), neutral-white (EXN), incandescent-lamp-color (EXL) and conventional type neutral-white (FLN) - were measured for a prolonged period. From analyses using diverse color rendering indices, it was clarified that the color rendering properties of fluorescent lamps are nearly constant while luminance declines with time irrespective of lamp type.
