요약2 The lobby space of a hotel plays an important role in the hotel's image, because it's the first place customers encounter when using a hotel. In space composition, lighting system, along with finishing materials, design, and color elements plays an important role in creating the image of the hotel lobby. Therefore, in this study, we have signification in determining how brand hotels are presenting their light displays, lighting, colors, and color temperature in the lobby space. First of all, the results of the study showed that all four hotels surveyed failed to meet KS light levels. Second, color temperatures were measured at 3,000 to 4,000 K, which is planned to be proper color temperatures. Third, for finishing materials, most hotels used marble on the floor, and marble or the sheet on the marble as a point on the wall. The ceiling was painted with white colors with other design elements to support. Fourth, ivory was widely used as a main color, and brown was used as a secondary color. Lastly, direct illumination was the most common method for lighting system, and reclamation method was the most common way for installation. In this study although we have proposed a situation survey and analysis on the interior planning and lighting system of the lobbies for luxury brand hotels, we still need more suggestions on how to direct lighting. Based on the conclusion of this study, we will conduct a satisfaction survey of lobby users to analyze, and to suggest how to create lighting for brand hotels in the future, and the data will be meaningful to be used as a basis for hotel lobby lighting planning in addition to brand hotels.
