| 요약2 | In the present age, labor hours are shortened due to the industrial development and the demand toward a life with leisure has increased. As such trend also had impact on the hotel industry, design hotel that can meet the expectation toward a differentiated experience has emerged. Design hotel is making various attempts for differentiation and among these, the cases to maximize the space design applying the objects of symbolic function are getting increased. In this paper, application of objects at hotels was examined through domestic and foreign cases along with a theoretical review on objects and hotels. As a result, it was derived that the application of objects is suitable at hotel spaces as a spatial factor and that the differentiation from other places can be maximized even more in case of applying the objects of emotional approach under the theme of regional characteristics or historicity, thus, becoming the identity and the competitiveness of hotels. |
