| 요약2 | Since 1960's Korea has undergone rapid modernization which has problem on the change of industrial society. This phenomena led the trend that tended to produce residence only in the quantity. However, supply-oriented policies for increasing the penetration rate of housing but only in the mass production of housing, the quality of life has not reached the demand of the residents. In this reason, the purpose of this study is to suggest improvement directions of public rental housing in Korea through examine the characteristics of social integration policy and complex planning in developed countries. Therefore, the scope of case study is US, Japan, and Netherlands where public housing policies have been established long ago. Social integration includes not only physical mix but also the cultural, economical, and social mix. Accordingly it is expected that the result of case studies shows First, social integration in parallel with housing welfare programs. Second, social integration methods through diversification of housing supply ways. Third, social integration through residents' social participation and various types of housing design. |
