In today's society needs person who has creative ability. In many countries, various policies and methods to educate elementary students are being implemented to develop 'creativity'. And for that reason, elementary schools in Korea plans various types of special classrooms to support subjects. Thus, this study aims to analysis science labs based on creative-environment-characteristics. For this study, 3 elementary schools are chosen which were built or remodeled dafter 2007. And each interior space of science labs are analyzed by six creative environment characteristics, As a result, most science labs are planed appropriately according to support 'Activity', 'Motivation' and 'Amenity'. However, it was difficult for students to study autonomously in class time. Also, it seemed to unable to display student's results. So it was required to consider 'autonomy', 'stability', and 'interactivity'. Also, mostly, 4-6 grade students use science lab and class is run by their teacher, so to reflect teachers' comments is needed for effective teaching process for promoting creativity. |
