In design of an eating & drinking space, lighting is one of the ways to give variety to the space. Lighting, which served no other than illuminating, is used as a scheme of effectively expressing the interior design which not only represents an image but create the space in a more diverse way. As an interior designer, Morita Yasumichi asserts that lighting is the most effective tool in space design and he chooses to give priority to investment in lighting at minimal cost. He applies various advantages of lighting to space design, creating the space with unique atmosphere and dramatic scene. In this study, we will research and analyze the correlation between lighting and the space at the eating & drinking space designed since 2000 by Morita Yasumichi. The study will provide ways to use lighting effectively in space design for an eating & drinking space. |
