요약2 The likely purpose of making modern interior architecture as a public space is to increase social interaction within, in other words, to promote consumers to stay longer inside the interior space. This kind of trends has been increasingly visible at the modern flagship stores. There, the research was conducted to analyze the interior architecture and features of the modern flagship stores that are built in recent times. The main features of modern flagship stores were the following: The natural connection between inside and out, expansion of display space, expansion of service offered, information offering and cultural experience and the use of local culture. The main interior design features were as follows: Symbolical facade, Openness and expansion through the use of transparent materials, irregular and odd-shape patterns and the use of material that enhances brand image. The above style of interior architectural design therefore offers accessibility, openness, convenience, connectedness, interchange, symbolism, continuity and regionality. In other words, modern flagship stores are incorporating openness, connectedness and accessibility into their design in order to attract and reach consumers easier. They are able to promote social connection between consumers and corporate and increase their staying time by incorporating interchange, convenience and continuity in their design of stores. At last, they are increasing brand awareness and increased revenue by incorporating symbolism and regionality in their interior architectural design.
