Technology of augmented reality has fascinated a lot of users and has continuously produced new issues. However, it is time it should be observed in different aspects beyond its mysterious aspect and we should discuss with what usage it can be developed. Therefore, this study aims to speculate properties of its use in space through media based on changed paradigms. For the purpose, the study analysed media of the era of network through properties of augmented reality, its present status and prospects, and its applicability for each area. Then the properties of media space where augmented reality is used were categorized into four factors: experimentality, immediacy, content and interaction and the analysis rate of each was presented. The study analysed actual examples of augmented reality using the analysis rates. Therefore, it is to present efficacy of augmented space using four factors of media: media is designed to deliver knowledge, show immediate response, have content through expanded perception and induce immersive participation of virtual space |
