Safety is the number one cause of death of children in Korea. However, City of Pusan lacks countermeasure plans and experimental exhibition halls in comparison to the level of accident. This study is to create child safety experience hall in Pusan that can raise interest in child safety and provide early experience in countermeasure. This is to provide on hand safety education to children by ages so they can grow ability to protect themselves and prevent accidents. To select the range of investigation, we counted the number of safety experimental halls in each cities and further broke this down to ones created after 2000, with size over 5000㎡. Then we selected four exhibition halls that handles safety and disaster from three main cities and investigated their status and facility details. First, investigate general characteristics of children safety halls and exhibition media through bibliography and researches. Second, categorize exhibition media based on its characteristic through theoretical contemplation. Third, investigate each exhibition topic through surveys and grasp the exhibition media status. Fourth, analyze these data and draw a result. The conclusion of this thesis is that the current exhibitions are actively introducing experimental exhibitions for children. The experimental exhibition hall proposal through this research is like this: first, obtain experimental facility that can provide actual experience, raising children’s interest. Second, let the children experience safety issue and countermeasure by providing realistic scene using actual models and special effects. This thesis is to propose new improvement plans such as these. |
