Shiro Kuramata worked in wide and diverse facets of design, ranging from commercial space design, residential design, furniture, lighting, and product designs. He has been internationally highly acclaimed and has influenced interior design trends and philosophy even after his death. The researcher has focused on his thoughts and process as his works were created. This study attempts to investigate what his Space thinking as unphenomenon as he described in his book, "Landscape of unphenomenon" and how he expresses it in space. Also, by defining his Space thinking and the method of expression, this study will take on a meaning of a new method in the methodological approach and it will be established as a new approach in design concepts across the board. |
