Recently, residents' needs and requirements for improvement of residential environment have greatly increased in Korea. It appears that this kind of phenomenon has been caused by the change in dwellers' lifestyle because of increase in income, five-day workweek system and decrease in work hours and the increase of their interest in home, leisure activities and health, following the current healthy-life trend. Therefore, construction companies started to focus on the development of differentiated community facilities as well as refreshing and comfortable housing space. In particular, buildings and facilities are managed and operated by a professional company. This paper is aimed to discover the factors that have an impact of the use of community facilities and find out the planned elements for promotion through an analysis on residents' needs and requirements and an interview with superintendents against the apartments whose community facilities are high in terms of utilization rate and managed by a professional company. |
