Facilities for children have increased as more women work in society than before. However, the increased facilities have focused only on education rather than on care, neglecting effects from the environment of daycare facilities. Therefore, this study aims to make a focus on the use of colors that may affect users' emotional aspect for the convenience of children who use these facilities. This study researches daycare facilities and colors and examines the characteristics of daycare facilities and color use. As a result of color use analysis based on case studies problems are as follows: There is no harmony between the finishing material colors of general spaces and the incidental bulletins or stickers to capture children's attention deepens the disharmony. Other interior elements in korea facilities, the disharmony of colors is also found in multi-purpose rooms regarding the colors of spaces, facilities and toys. The Facilities for both countries have same color scheme which is on floor material and wooden color white color on wall and ceiling material. It seems that these problems are found because finishing material colors are selected by environmental elements without color plans, dividing colors into main colors, subsidiary colors and emphasis colors. |
