This study, therefore, investigates and developed the notion and the importance of the public that has been formed and developed with the urban growth and that has disappeared through modernization. The arument will be focused on how to revitalize the public in the contemporary cities through a right interpretation of the public in the contemporary. The ultimate purpose of the thesis is to propose a design strategy by which the new public sphere will be reconstructed within the contemporary office space. |
