| 요약1 | 과학기술과 전자미디어의 발달은 양의 복제 프로젝트를 실제적으로 실현시키게 되었으며, 원본과 차이가 없는 복제 재생산을 가능하게 만들었다. 1990년대 이후부터 변화된 DNA를 가진 동물과 식물들이 세계시장으로 퍼져나가고 있으며, 인간의 게놈지도가 완성하기에 이르렀다. 이러한 사회적 현상은 좀더 몸을 편안하게 하고 아름답게 보이기 위한 노력으로 귀결되고 있으며, 이는 곧 사람이 직접 접하게 되는 패션과 공간을 몸과 가장 비슷하게 만들고자하는 욕망을 일으키게 되었다.동시대의 디자이너들은 내부 공간 그리고 건물의 표면을 복잡하고 모호한 형태로 접근한다. Karim Rashid, Fabio Novembre 등 많은 디자이너와 건축가는 오브제를 감싸는 표피를 제3의 피부로 표현하는 새로운 기술과 재료를 탐구하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 실내디자인을 건축적 관계로만 파악하려는 기존의 전개방법에서 탈피하여 포괄적으로 동시대의 타 예술 영역들과의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 상호 공존하는 예술로 발전시킬 수 있는 공간의 표현에 대한 확장된 시각과 새로운 개념을 파악하고자 한다. |
| 요약2 | AbstractSkin, the complex membrane that holds the body together, also embraces the full spectrum of design today-from product to architecture, fashion, and media. Every object has a skin. thick or thin, smooth or rough, porous or impermeable, the skin is the line between a hidden interior and an exterior we experience. Skin: Surface, Substance and Design is a compendium of products, furniture, fashion, architecture and media that expand the limits of what we understand as surface. Reflecting the convergence of natural and artificial life, this provocative a thesis shows how enhanced and simulated skins apperar everywhere in today`s world. |
