요약2 Consumer tendency is changing to "Green-summer," which aims to increase awareness of environmental problems and consume in an environmentally beneficial direction, and as a result, upcycling is attracting attention in modern society, more and more new creators design upcycling products in Korea. However, most of these new creators' working environments are poor, so there is not enough space to produce, sell, and promote. The method of renting public facilities also has a problem of having to share space and facilities with several people. To solve this problem, an upcycling creative studio is needed to support creative activities, including the work process of upcycling creators. In this study, based on the analysis of the spatial characteristics of existing creative studios and actual upcycling process cases, the spatial composition and spatial characteristics of upcycling creative studios for creators were derived, and this was analyzed by substituting them into domestic upcycling creative studio cases. As a result, the current upcycling creative studio has revealed a stronger identity of cultural facilities to promote the upcycling field to visitors than the upcycling creator's workspace. In addition, opportunities for space rental, exhibition, and sales are being provided for the development of the upcycling industry, but specific space proposals considering the working environment of different creators were insufficient. In addition, expression and openness were prominent in spatial cases among the spatial characteristics of upcycling creative studios derived from previous studies, such as contextuality, flexibility, openness, connectivity, commerciality, and expression. In order to cope with the production process of various creators, it was found that expression and flexibility should be further strengthened in private studios based on cases. This study analyzes the work process of actual upcycling creators and the spatial characteristics of creative studios to derive the composition and characteristics of upcycling creative studios as creative support spaces.
