| 요약2 | Heterotopia is a new space that is out of social norms and neutralizes other places in violation of the dichotomy system. This is a source of creative ideas that diversify the perspectives of various fields and derives the physical and cognitive boundaries of space. This study started by reinterpreting heterotopia and deriving contemporary characteristics, and derived heterotopian spatial boundaries by connecting with spatial boundaries. First, the combination of different elements creates ambiguous boundaries to form an uncertain space through hybridity. Second, complexization and functional diversity based on variable have a non-hierarchical character through variable by creating a changing boundary. Third, the ambiguous boundary formed by overlapping of various media expresses the non-dailyness caused by overlapping as a space of deviation that creates newness. Fourth, in transition space, the cognitive boundary is formed as material and non-material elements, and scalability by transition area is shown. The characteristics derived from the study were the criteria for the analysis of Peter Zumtor's works that create a space that is different from the surroundings and the cases of his works were revealed to be highly inclined. This study presents the possibility of interpreting heterotopia in contemporary times and provides a new perspective on the modern boundary where diversity is amplified. This is expected to be used as a reference for boundary deconstruction design that continues in contemporary times. |
