요약2 This study is a Myongri(‘Life Principle,’命理) theoretical study on the perspective drawing ability of university students in interior design major-related departments. Since a long while ago, many students have gone to university without coolheaded judgement about their career, have not adapted to the main curriculum of their majors, and have not led a satisfactory work life after graduating. This study aims to support these young moderns, especially students who consider entering interior design-related departments, to deeply contemplate their competence and to make their career decision. In the analysis, ten-stars (“Sip-seong,” 十神) of earthly branches for months and Gyeog-guk (implies, ‘one’s inherent characteristics or identity,’ 格局) in the structures of the Four Pillars have been set utilized the program of Apriority Aptitude Test for their objective evaluation. The analysis of One-Way ANOVA was conducted to identify the values of frequency analysis and descriptive statistics and to compare the values with various groups as using the data collected through the questionnaires and the structures of the Four Pillars. Also, Pearson’s correlation analysis was conducted to calculate the coefficient of correlation between two variables, and Dummy-regression analysis was carried out for hypothesis tests. As the results of analyzing the hypotheses, there was relevant relationship in ten-stars of earthly branches for months and Gyeog-guk. In addition, the relationship between the ten-stars of earthly branches for months and the perspective drawing skills showed that the Pyeon-jae (implies, ‘indirect wealth,’ 偏財) was 7.033 higher than the Jeong-in (implies, ‘direct resource,’ 正印) (t=2.888, p<.01) . In the relationship between the Gyeog-guk and the perspective drawing skills, the Pyeon-jae was 6.893 greater than the Jeong-in (t=2.885, p<.01). From this study, a student who doesn’t have strong perspective drawing ability, it doesn’t mean they are not suited for in interior design major-related departments and related job. However it is possible to advise for their career path to students who has the spatial perception are more likely to develop and demonstrate their talent and ability.
