Today, high-tech sharing platforms are cooperative sharing societies that dominate the social paradigm. The most important thing in constructing the space of modern information facilities is the spatial solution according to the acceptance of time value and paradigm. The purpose of this study is to propose an infrastructure prototype of public library user space that can reinforce library functions based on modern social culture. First of all, through theoretical considerations, the meaning and elements of contemporary sharing culture and public library were examined. Based on these sociocultural theories, the elements that make up the library's infrastructure were extracted. Also, the status and characteristics of shared infrastructure of user space in 20 cases of public libraries on domestic and foreign were identified. In addition, the process of deriving prototypes and verifying the structure of the shared infrastructure was carried out in stages. As a result, we extracted five elements ? accessibility, connectivity, flexibility, pluralism and openness ? as the infrastructure components that can support and enhance the library's sharing activities. And we proposed an integrated knowledge curator (PT1), a creative incubator (PT2), and a shared connector (PT3) as an infrastructure prototype of the public library user space in which the sharing culture of modern society is embedded. These mean that modern public libraries should serve as a place to ensure productive activities and creative growth through the sharing of knowledge and to connect various knowledge experiences. This study seems to be meaningful as a basic model of information facilities that can build a shared meaning system in modern society. |
