요약2 With the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, interest in ice skating events and stadiums is increasing. Particularly, since the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, the concept of "environmental Olympics" has been introduced, making the application of environmental-friendly planning elements in ice stadiums an important issue. Due to this effect, the Korean ice rink also applied various environmental -friendly design technologies on a trial basis with the goal of "low-carbon green Olympics." However, it is believed that the concept and application of the environmental-friendly ice field should be reviewed as the post-utilization aspect becomes an issue. In this study, we analyzed environmental-friendly planning factors applied to seven Korean ice-skating stadiums that received eco-friendly certification to identify the major environmental-friendly characteristics and derive the planning factors that should be supplemented or improved. We looked at the architectural characteristics of each analysis target with a focus on layout, form and elevation planning, and derived the environmental-friendly characteristics applied to the stadium by checking the application rate of environmental-friendly planning elements based on environmental- friendly building certification items. As a result, the ice rink, which has been certified as an environmental- friendly environment in Korea, showed the application rates in the order of 87.5% for land use and transportation, 79.6% for maintenance, 66.7% for water resources management, 59.5% for energy and environmental pollution, 57.9% for materials and resources, 56.7% for indoor environment, and 52% for ecological environment. In this regard, the ice rink in Korea needs to take various aspects of environmental- friendly consideration, especially in the ecological environment and indoor environment, materials and resource planning. In this study, we emphasized the importance of environmental-friendly planning, inclu- ding sustainability, from initial planning to post-use in environmental-friendly ice-skating stadiums, and suggested the major environmental-friendly planning elements and directions to be supplemented and considered when recycling or reusing existing stadiums.
