| 요약1 | 본 연구의 목적은 실내디자이너들이 실무에서 지속가능한 실내디자인을 얼마나 수행하고 있는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 이는 실내디자이너가 환경의 지속가능한 특징에 관하여 개인이나 회사측면에서 얼마나 중요하게 인식하고 있으며 실제 실무에서 얼마나 자주 이를 이행하고 있는지를 살펴봄으로써 실내디자인을 위한 교육에서 강조되어야 할 차원을 밝히고 실무에서 상대적으로 간과되고 있는 부분을 조사하여 지속가능한 실내디자인 업무를 수행하는데 필요한 교육 및 인프라를 구성하는데 도움이 되고자 하였다. |
| 요약2 | Sustainable interior design is defined as interior design in which all systems and materials are designed with an emphasis on integration into a whole for the purpose of minimizing the negative impacts and maximizing the positive impacts on environmental, economic, and social systems over the life cycle of the interior components of a building. To achieve sustainability, it is important to pay attention to the design factors that significantly affect environmental eco-system. The purpose of this study was to describe how interior designers applied sustainable interior design factors and how important they perceived sustainable interior design factors to be. Internet-based survey of interior design practitioners was conducted to collect data. A random sample was drawn from the American Society of Interior Designers membership list. Findings indicated that although interior designers acknowledge the importance of sustainable design practice, they have not frequently applied it to their projects. The results of this study suggest future educational strategies for students majoring in interior design and continuing education for interior design professionals. |
