| 요약1 | 현대건축에서 나타나는 투명성은 근대건축과 근대 모더니스트들의 작품에서 제시된 투명성에 대한 새로운 접근방법에 그 기반을 두고 있다. 근대 건축 공간에서 유리를 비롯한 투명한 물성을 가진 자재의 사용이 급격히 증가됨에 따라 투명성은 근대 건축을 설명하는 중요한 개념이 되었으며, 그 개념은 분화를 거듭하여 재료에 의해 표현되는 즉물적인 개념 외에 관찰자의 인지적 판단과 관계되는 현상적인 개념으로까지 발전하게 되었다. 투명성 개념의 변화의 흐름에 따라 투명성을 드러내는 건물들은 현대건축의 다원적이고 불확정적인 공간의 창출을 도모하기도 하며, 도시와 주변환경의 컨텍스트를 반영하여 내부공간의 질을 향상시키는 등 광범위하게 나타나고 있다. 이러한 건축적 경향과 더불어 현대 건축에서는 투명성에 대한 논의가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있으며, 다양한 의미로 해석되어지고 있다. 기존 연구자들에 의해 건축에서 다양하게 나타나고 있는 투명성에 대한 접근 방법-재료, 빛, 색상, 공간-은 오히려 투명성에 대한 개념이 서로 중첩되거나 단편적 개념들의 나열에 그치고 있어 더욱 혼란스럽게 하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 투명성의 접근방법을 살펴보면 궁극적으로 결국 내부와 외부의 투명성을 구현해내는 방법으로 분류된다고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 ‘투명성’에 대한 다양한 개념들을 유형화하여 현대건축에서 나타나는 ‘투명성’의 표현 기법을 살펴보고자 한다. |
| 요약2 | Discussions on transparency have been being analyzed as variedly as the diversity itself in contemporary architecture. Though it is inappropriate to summarize the discussions into several specific viewpoints, as the notional classifications on transparency are varied according to the points of individual researchers, it can be said that, by approaching with the standpoint of the designers who may have various difficulties in the course of design, the meaning of this thesis lies largely in the fact that it attempted to study the architectural application techniques of transparency notion both through surface aspect which could be said to decide on the appearance of the architecture shape and through, in physical aspects as a combination of space components comprising the inner space, spatial aspect to which architectural techniques of transparency notion are applied. Through these, we conclude as follows. 1. Representation Techniques of Transparency in Surface : Transparency from surface viewpoint could be categorized into 1) emphasis on property-of-matter, 2)??lightness of Literal material itself, 3) visual ambivalence, and 4) dematerialized hyper-surface. 2. Representation Techniques of Transparency in Space : In spatial viewpoint, transparency is summarized into sub-viewpoints as 1) straightforward space 2) ambiguous spacer 3) expanded space |
