| 요약1 | 빠른 속도로 서구화 과정을 겪은 우리나라의 경우는 전통 공간 문화와 단절된 상태로 서양식 공간 문화가 그대로 적용되어왔으나 최근 전통공간에 대한 고찰 및 적용방법의 연구가 그 어느 때보다도 활발히 진행되고 있음은 매우 고무적인 현상이라 할 수 있다. 이제 우리의 조형적이고 물리적인 특성뿐만 아니라 비가시적인 공간 개념에 대한 연구와 적용법에 대한 모색 또한 매우 중요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 우리의 전통 주거 공간에 나타난 영역성과 사밀성의 의미, 특성, 그리고 구체적인 표현 방식을 분석하고 체계화하여 향후 우리 문화에 맞는 영역성과 사밀성 개념을 고려한 공간 구성이 가능할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. |
| 요약2 | Territoriality and privacy are known to be basic human instincts that have made today's cultural evolution possible. However there are also cultural differences in the expressions and meanings of territorial and privacy behaviors. Currently with the emerge of non-territorial workplaces office workers are deprived from what used to be their territory and force to share with co-workers leading confusion and stress. Therefore many research has be conducted on territorial issues but unfortunately little is known on Korean cultural concept of territoriality and privacy. Even though Korean society has been rapidly westernized during the 20th century, traditional culture still is a major influence on Korean's concept and use of space. This study explores and investigates the concept of territoriality and privacy and how they are expressed in traditional Korean housing focused on high level society between 17th and 19th century. Thus hope make a small contribution in designing unique and culture based interior spaces. |
