| 요약1 | 20세기 후반에 들어서면서 일부 문화 및 미학 이론들 사이에는 포스트모던 미학의 근원을 중세에서 찾거나 그것과 연관시키려는 시도가 일어났다. 이러한 접근방법은 중세 시대를 특징짓는 미학적 제 문제를 현대적(포스트모던적) 관점에서 재조명하고자 하는 시도이자 포스트모던 사고의 역사적 근원을 이해하려는 노력으로 간주될 수 있다. 그렇지만 포스트모던 사회에서 찾아볼 수 있는 다양한 미적 이데올로기를 특정한 역사적 시점(중세)의 세계관에 비추어 비교하는 접근은 매우 광범위한 연구일 수밖에 없다. 따라서 본논문에서는 보다 구체적이며 제한적으로 중세를 일종의 영감적 근원(Inspirational Source)으로 간주해 보기로 한다. 여기서 말하는 영감적 근원이란 개념적 소재와 모티브를 비롯하여 메타담론(meta-discourse)2)의 원천을가리킨다.또한 본 논문은 포스트모더니즘과 중세의 세계관을 미학적 관점에서 접근하고자 하지만, 여기서는 객관주의 미학보다는 주관주의 미학의 관점에서 두 에피스테메(episteme)의 관계성을 파악하고자 한다. 중세와 현대의 미학을 관련짓는 것은 분명 논쟁의 대상이 될 수 있다. 그렇지만 과학적 에피스테메 이전(중세)의 미학과 탈이성주의적 미학의 관점들이 얼마만큼 조우하고 있는가를 분석하는 일은 포스트모던의 디자인적 사유체계를 이해하는 데 도움이 될 것이다. |
| 요약2 | The attempt to find the origin of Post-modern aesthetics from the Middle Ages is easy to perceive the thinking system of contemporary design. The Middle Ages showed that things and God`s relation were symbolized all things were connected with analogical ideas as mysticism(alchemy, gnosticism), and God`s world was represented with the metaphor. While the hybrid style of Post-modern architecture expressed that the rationalism was opposed to ideology, partly, the idea of irrational with mysterious, also unscientific with analogical discourse . And the Symbolism of Post-Modern Design is means of popular Communication. Exactly, the common feature of ideology with pre-rationalism and anti-rationalism are against the dominated ideology in present. In conclusion, the relation of significancy effect in Chaos and in composition can be considered inspirational source historically. |
