AbstractA Study was analyzed and investigated on the formation and development processes of interior design concepts through the framework of conceptual mapping system. Design development process by conceptual mapping could be easily informed to frame of concept theme and had been adapted and utilized practical use for suggestion and relationship of idea. Though also, frame, content and relationship with the ideas would not be identified and systemized by interior design could be revealed, it made them to network as a overall configurated thinking process. Therefore design development process by conceptual mapping had a capable of imagination on ideas from more systematic approaching, could be framed educational thinking flow from basic sketches to selection of finishing materials.As a result of the investigation from these point of views, development phase of interior design by conceptual mapping should be processed to problem solving process though the framework of pre-statement, observation, key concepts, explanatory statement, link-loop, visual study, hierarchy. |
