| 요약1 | 이미 기원전 6세기경부터1) 현재에 이르기까지 공연예술을 담아내고 있는 ?극장공간은 무대가 갖고있는 성격에 따라 그 형식이 변천의 과정을 이루어왔다. 물론 각 시대의 극장형식은 사회적 조건과 연극형식의 종류에 따라 지속적인 변화를 이루는 것이 당연한 것이지만 19세기말부터 시작된 근대극운동과 함께 극장형식2)의 다양한 변화는 이후 현대의 다목적 극장(Multi-purpose theater) 및 가변형 극장(Multi-form theater)으로 인해 극장공간 만의 원형적 형식이 잊혀지게 되었다. 무대와 객석의 관계를 ?고찰하고 상업적 목적으로만이 아닌 극장형식과 관객 역할의 상관성을 재고해 봄으로써 다양화로 치부되는 현대의 공연예술 및 혼돈 된 극장건축의 틀을 재확인 하고자 한다. 이는 과거로부터 이어져온 대상과 피 대상과의 관계를 확인하는 방법으로 객체와 공동체와의 관계를, 그리고 나아가 도시 속에서 극장건축이 차지하는 역할을 재고해 보고자 함이다. |
| 요약2 | Today, the worship of entertainment i,e. television has created a situation of diminishing monumental environments with increasing leisure time. Let us examine retrospectively the overall meaning of this "monumentality" as part of special architectural programs emphasizing the characteristics of the Urban Theater Architecture. Two aspects would stand out as Theater Architecture gets closer to the urban tradition or trends to make a part of a city come to life. One aspect is an introvert purity. The other is an extrovert organic structure on the edge of connecting urban scenary with anything hoping to find the renewable element which could be revived eternally in architecture. |
