The purpose of this paper is to analyze the insulation performance of sandwich insulation wall panel systems depending on mechanical binding methods. In this study, the heat transfer simulation for sandwich wall panel systems was carried out by using Physibel TRISCO, the three-dimensional heat transfer analysis tool. Three mechanical binding methods, using the fastener type, truss type, and U-bar type, were evaluated. The results suggested that there was significant differences in the thermal bridge coefficients depending on the binding methods, showing the highest coefficient of 0.300 W/K·unit found for U-bar type. |
