요약2 To reduce the energy consumptions in buildings, the government of South Korea, and the Korea District Heating Corporation have recommended the adoption of gas engine-driven heat pump (GHP) using natural gas, and district heating and cooling. Analyzed in the present study are the operation times for each purpose of use regarding various operation types of neighborhood living facility through field surveys. The energy consumptions for each heat source, and by the purpose of use were comparatively analyzed through EnergyPlus. As a result, the annual energy consumption of an FCU-type (fan coil unit type) district heating and cooling was lower than the annual energy consumption of the GHP. Therefore, it was concluded that the neighborhood living facilities with various operation types are more suited by the FCU-type district heating and cooling system.
