The conclusions reached as a result of this study are as follows. The buildings finished with curtain wall have three critical factors causing glare, first one is reflection of finishing material, second one is ratio of window area, and the other is the presence of shading device. The result of field measurement for curtain wall building(A, B, C), the glare is caused by specular reflectivity of the glass about 12000lx. However, in case of low ratio of window area or curtain wall building equipped with vertical shades, it was found that the glare is diminished about from 1/3 to 1/4. |
