요약2 This study is to calculate of shadow areas for kinetic facades using mathematical formular. Kinetic Facade have various parameters to consider the shaded areas. Shading devices are classified by types of their movements. The parameters were set by shading types and used in the formular in order to calculate the shaded areas. We classified four types of shading devices and proposed the formular for calculating shaded areas as the types of shading devices. The mathematical formular were derived by composing of the formular of each plane. We drew the formular for shaded areas of fixed type and set the method of movable types.
