The recently emerging ecological living town planning suggested by urban environment researchers is not an original Korean model but an advanced nations' one recomposed of advantages of those countries' ecological principles and techniques. Hence, the Korean ecological living town planning model is necessary to reflect our natural condition. To achieve this goal, the ecological planning elements able to be applied to modern city situation can be selected among cases. In order to examine the possibility of application, this study adopted a comparison method of ecological living town making principle of the inside and outside of Korea. |
