The purpose of this study is to examine the sleep environment and sleep quality in winter and spring. The subject of this study are twenty four women who live in apartments in Seoul, and they are grouped by age. We conducted pre-sleep questionnaire and post-sleep questionnaire. We measured equivalent noise level, illuminance, air temperature, relative humidity, MRT, and CO2 concentration in their bedrooms as sleep environment. We also investigated sleep apnea and hypopnea of each subject during their sleep as sleep quality. As a result of research, we can reveal the fact that most subjects are exposed to over 1000ppm CO2 concentration during sleep and MRT has influence on sleep quality either in winter and in spring. |
