Global warming problem has been issued as a universal problem. Recently, high-density highrised apartment has caused the problem of decrease in ventilation rates and increase of indoor pollutant contaminants. The purpose of this research is to reduce mesoscale impacts of cities’ climate and also to find the method which can reduce the heat island effect by considering of microclimate. Since it is difficult to analyze the external environment considering the interaction among various physical factors such as wind, the sun, and the green design, we introduce CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) to analyze outdoor thermal environment in apartment complex according to the layouts of tower-shape and exterior cladding. Through the analysis of each apartment housing case we classified, therefore, we find thermal environmental factors effect on outdoor thermal environment in apartment housing and analyze some factors and concepts which enable us to estimate the heat island effect. |
