요약2 The electrical energy consumption for heating and cooling of campus building has been increased recently due to the noticeable increase of electrical heat pump system. By applying TABS to HVAC system of buildings, the peak load can be shifted due to the time-lag effect caused by a high thermal inertia of the concrete slab. It can serve as a potentially useful form of thermal storage to help manage peak load periods, thus reduce the overall large-scale generating capacity required. So TABS has been considered as energy efficient HVAC system. This study is focused on the evaluation of thermal performance of CCA(Concrete Core Activation) system or TABS(Thermally Activated Building System) installed in Ewha Campus Center by field measurements. For this purpose, we analyzed the surface temperature distribution of the concrete slab where TABS embedded, analyzed the vertical temperature distribution of the room, and measured the PMV(Predicted Mean Vote) comfort index in the room.
