요약2 The importance of ventilation system is being emphasized by interest of indoor air quality. Especially, heat recovery ventilation system has attracted attention as most effective ventilation plan. Because it can reduce hazardous construction materials, indoor air pollutions, and also can reduce air conditioning energy. A heat recovery ventilation system has a supply fan and an exhaust fan, and the air flow rates can be controlled individually. In this study, heat transfer characteristics of the system, when the air flow rates are controlled, have been investigated and analyzed. The optimum air flow ratio between supply and return flows is 1:1 and the total heat transfer reaches maximum at that point.
