This study aimed to evaluate the wind road in the hillside apartment complex in the coastal area by CFD analysis. The results of this study are as follows; The vortex has occurred and fast air streams are locally made in the apartment complex which are analysed by CFD simulation. Also the stagnant flow region is widely distributed in the apartment complex. Therefore, the wind road isn't formed properly. In order to make the wind road properly, apartment should have piloties and space out between buildings enough to prevent ventury effect. Also buildings should be arranged that is considered direction of the wind. And the shape of building should be avoided rectangle form. |
