The main thrust of this study iss to suggest proper radiant heating panel for apartment houses in Korea. After choosing a representative panel by investigation of panel in apartment houses, heat output of the panel was calculated by using radiant heating panel design method in ASHRAE Handbook. And it was found that existing panel is over-designed by comparing heat output and heating load in an apartment house. For reasonable heat ouptut of panel, suggestions to lower hot water temperature and broaden pipe spacing are offered. |
