요약2 This study compares two ventilation methods (CAV vs. DCV-CO2) in terms of energy performance for the typical apartment building. For the reliable CAV and DCV-CO2 simulation model (regarding CO2 concentration and zone temperature), the widely used simulation tools, EnergyPlus and CONTAMW was coupled in the MATLAB platform. Especially the apartment building which has transient occupant patterns, energy performance of those two systems are affected by occupant schedules dominantly. Hence, in this study, thirty generation of real occupant schedules from questionnaire and interviews are used. It is found that the DCV-CO2 achieves energy saving of 11% with moderate CO2 concentration level compared to the CAV which leads to over-ventilation.
