요약2 Recently, reduction of energy consumption became a urgent issue in the Korea in accordance with worldwide trend to decrease CO2 emission rate. Of course, there is many effective way to do this in the residential building. However, decreasing heating and cooling load by using passive system is more effective, because, the passive system can control internal climate of building without additional investment of energy. In this paper, window system with low transmittance and external shading device were considered as passive systems to control indoor environment and natural ventilation was additionally adopted. As a result, total load reduction rate when these three factor were adopted, was about 25%.
