COVID-19 has caused more casualties compared to SARS and MERS. According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), COVID-19 known that airborne infection in confined spaces where respiratory droplets are generated for extended periods of time. In previous studies, there are many studies on reduction effect of spread of airborne infection by installing UR-UVGI in medical facilities. However, there are not many studies on public facilities such as PC game rooms. Therefore, this study analysis using CFD the reduction effect of spread of COVID-19 by installing UR-UVGI in PC game rooms among public facilities. In 6 cases with different locations of infected person, the reduction effect of spread of COVDI-19 was confirmed by installing UR-UVGI. In addition, the reduction of effect spread of COVID-19 was confirmed with the average concentration of the PC game room and was predicted the infection risk using the Wells-Riley model. As a result, after UR-UVGI installation in the PC game room, the average concentration of infection source and the average infection risk decreased more than 70% in all cases. In addition, when UR-UVGI is installed, the residential time to reach a certain infection risk can be longer. UR-UVGI is effective in reducing the spread of airborne infection in PC game room. However, in this study, it is difficult to generalize by analyzing only one space. Therefore, it is necessary to study various public facilities in future studies. |
