요약2 As the scope of use of building energy data has been expanded, a simplified method is proposed to increase accessibility of non-experts to building energy analysis and to reduce input variables of building energy simulation. In this study, a method of calculating building shape data such as envelope area and thermal bridge length by substituting a simplified rectangular form with general building information obtained from a register of building or satellite map without measurement was referred to as the “Simplified method”. In order to set the range of necessary general information on buildings, the simplified method was divided into 3 types according to the main variables. The main variables were total floor area, building area, number of floors, height, long side length and short side length. The complexity of the building shape was excluded from the main variables because the difference in the A/V ratio between each building shape was not significant. The error ranges of the envelope area and the thermal bridge length of three simplified methods were analyzed for a building with a total floor area of 1,000 m2. As a result, the simplified method was sequentially supplemented from the simplification of the form using the long side length (M1) to that using the ratio of lateral to longitudinal length (M2) and applying an appropriate correction factor (M3). Compared to the envelope area and thermal bridge length of an analysis building with a total floor area of 1,363 m2, the error rates of the simplified method were respectively 5.3% and 2.5%. In the future, additional analysis of application of this simplified method to small-scale buildings where difference in the A/V ratio is large depending on the building shape.
