To respond to climate change, the world has set greenhouse gas reduction targets and imple- mented action plans. Various policies are being implemented to save energy in buildings. In this study, a public building energy integrated support system was developed, which is a web-based comprehensive support system to provide optimal information for building energy efficiency. It also provides customized information, which can assist stakeholders in taking decisions easily. The system consists of a main system and a linked system, and the main system consists of a ‘Com- prehensive Information Guide’, ‘Self-Diagnosis of Energy’, and ‘Energy Efficiency Guide’. The ‘Comprehensive Information Guide’ provides basic information on buildings, related policies, and low energy buildings and technologies. ‘Self-Diagnosis of Energy’ compares energy performance levels and provides improvement guides. ‘Energy Efficiency Guide’ simply evaluates energy performance, evaluates user-selected efficiency alternatives, or searches for optimal alternatives. Additionally, System is linked with the Korea registration portal of building materials (K-RBM) and the Korea detailed building energy information system (KDBEIS) (based on in-situ measurements). The developed system was evaluated and supplemented with service usability through alpha and beta tests. |
