The indoor luminous environment that varies with the weather conditions affects the changes in residents’ emotions. However, when using weather information in buildings, residents’ emotional changes due to weather are not considered, but only energy saving potential. Therefore, in this paper we controlled the indoor luminous environments, correlated color temperature (CCT) (3500, 400 and 6500 K) and illuminance (300, 600 and 900 lx), to analyse the residents’ emotional states and to provide appropriate indoor illuminance and CCT. The experiments revealed that the average positive emotion was increased by 19% when the sky condition was overcast provided with the illuminance of 900 lx and the CCT of 4500 K. The negative emotion was decreased by 17% when the sky condition was clear, overcast provided with the illuminance of 600 lx and the CCT of 3500 K. On the other hand, with a illuminance of 300 lx, positive emotion at all CCT were reduced by an average of 22.25%. |
