요약2 Office buildings is supplied with heating and cooling sources mainly by the centralized air conditioning system. Therefore, the level of energy demand must be determined in advance according to the condition of the building and the characteristics of the air conditioning system. In particular, we tried to prove that the cooling energy demand was reduced through the introduction of out side air by operating the multi-unit duct system for each zoning compared to the existing single unit duct system in view of maintaining the thermal comfort of residents. As a result of the simulation, the Air conditioning by ventilation is effective for reduction of cooling and latent energy demand. Furthermore, multi-unit duct system has more efficient than single unit duct system. We expect that this study will provide us a base line for full scale research on economic efficiency within single unit duct and multi-unit duct air conditioning system.
