요약2 In summer 2018, the temperature of Seoul was 39.6℃, as the Korea Meteorological Administration recorded the highest daily maximum temperature in 111 years since the observation and recorded the maximum number of heat days in Korea since 1973. In order to dissipate such sultry heat, the municipalities including the city of Seoul have changed the color of the roof of the building to paint the white roofing paint free of charge on the rooftop for promoting and spreading the Cool Roof campaign. However, the installation standards for domestic Cool Roof are simply specified that the solar reflectance is 0.65 or more, there is no specific and detailed standard. According to the 'Market Research Report' by Grand View Research, the world's Cool Roof coating market in 2017 was $ 3.18 billion, adopted most governments green building codes, the size of the Cool Roof coating market is expected to reach $ 5.45 billion by 2025, with an annual average growth rate of 7.0%. At the time when the Cool Roof market increases, we will investigate the Cool Roof status and propose the improvement plan of problem in Cool Roof coating, which is proved to be effective for reducing cooling load and mitigation of heat island effect.
